The Soil of Foleigon
A soil from ages long forgotten, to most. Takam remembers. The soil grew in what was called Foleigon
Pass, and was the only soil that could grow the Yolec root. The Yolec root can [ ]. She’d already obtained the seed, now she just
needed the soil. After years of
searching, deal-making, and threatening, she found the last known sample in the
Lyndin Group’s labs.

out of here. I’m so close now… Stay
focused.
Panel 2:
Exterior. One tree in
the middle of a sidewalk.

Takam: Hrm, should have made a plan. This human impulsiveness is awesome! Well, just pick a direction and go!
Panel 2:
Walking down a long hallway. Doors marked on both
sides.
Takam: I thought
I’d feel it, I thought it would speak to me.
Why can’t I hear…
Panel 3:

right into Takam
Scientist: Ooof
Takam: Ouch!
Panel 4:
The scientist recognizes something strange about Takam- footsteps
approach
Scientist: who, what,
get out of here. You can’t be here. You
don’t know what you’re doing. They
already know..
Panel 5:
Takam pulls the scientist into the room and slams the
door. The soil is on a table with a
laser firing at it
Takam: I knew I felt it, as soon as you opened the
door. What is this? What are you doing??
Scientist: I … I
Takam: turn it off,
I’m taking this. Hurry!

Takam reaches for the sample while the scientist pushes
buttons on a panel.
Panel 2:
The scientist blocks the door.
Scientist: I only shut the beam off because you’d have
killed yourself- you can’t leave
Takam: Incorrect. I’m
leaving, now.
Scientist: They’ll
kill me
Panel 3:
Takam (sigh): Come with me, there’s no time
Scientist: I can’t, they’ll kill me
Takam: I won’t let
that happen
Scientist: Can you
fix this?
Panel 4:
Scientist reveals a tattoo on her forearm
Scientist: If I leave, this kills me. If you take the sample, they kill me.
Takam: Why’d you have to be a human?
